Terms of Service

Settings2026-04-21

1. Scope & Applicability

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this online store and the purchase of products through it. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. These Terms apply to consumers and businesses across all EU/EEA Member States — Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and EEA states Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.

2. Operator Identity

The operator of this store is identified in the website imprint. In compliance with E-Commerce Directive 2000/31/EC Art. 5, we publish our company name, registered address, registration number, VAT ID, and contact email on every page footer or in the legal notice.

3. Contract Formation

Product listings are invitations to treat, not binding offers. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline orders for stock, pricing, or fraud reasons.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices displayed include VAT at the rate applicable to the destination country (in accordance with EU VAT Directive 2006/112/EC). Delivery costs are shown before checkout. We accept the payment methods listed at checkout (card, cash on delivery where available).

5. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are shown on the product page and at checkout. Risk of loss passes to the consumer upon delivery (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 20). If delivery exceeds the agreed or 30-day deadline, the consumer may terminate the contract after granting a reasonable additional deadline.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU)

As a consumer within the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, send a clear statement (e.g., by email) to us. You may use the model withdrawal form in Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

After withdrawal, return the goods within 14 days. We will reimburse all payments (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the return, using the same payment method.

Exceptions (Art. 16): sealed food products that have been opened after delivery and are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons; goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly; goods made to consumer specifications.

7. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

Under Directive (EU) 2019/771, products must conform to the contract. Consumers have a minimum 2-year legal guarantee. If a defect appears within the first year (or two years in some Member States), it is presumed to have existed at delivery. Remedies: repair, replacement, price reduction, or contract termination as per Art. 13–16.

8. Food Products

Food products are labelled in accordance with EU Regulation 1169/2011 (Food Information to Consumers). Allergen, nutritional, and origin information is provided on every product listing. Best-before dates are clearly indicated. Perishable goods may be excluded from the right of withdrawal per Art. 16(d) of Directive 2011/83/EU.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are liable without limitation for intentional or grossly negligent conduct and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable damages typical for the contract. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the consumer's Member State remain unaffected.

10. Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged, and currently do not participate in, dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. However, we are always willing to settle disputes amicably.

11. Scandinavian-Specific Provisions

Sweden: These Terms comply with the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen 2005:59). The Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket/KO) is the supervisory authority.

Denmark: Compliant with the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven). The Danish Consumer Ombudsman (Forbrugerombudsmanden) oversees compliance.

Finland: Compliant with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (kuluttajansuojalaki 38/1978). The Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta) handles disputes.

Norway (EEA): Compliant with the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjøpsloven). The Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet) provides guidance.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

For consumers, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of habitual residence apply (Rome I Regulation Art. 6). Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under the law of your Member State. Jurisdiction is the consumer's place of domicile (Brussels I Regulation Art. 18).

13. Severability

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining Terms continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic intent of the original.
